Home of most Aven, Pranticle Peak is a city nestled in the clouds, surrounded by mist and haze, and located on floating islands in the sky.

A series of floating islands, located high above the clouds, constitute the main city of Pranticle Peak. The islands are connected by bridges and walkways, and are reached mostly by flying. The city is built on the largest island, which is surrounded by the smaller ones. The peak is known for its breathtaking views of the clouds and the sky, and is home to the city's main government buildings, such as the Pranticle City Hall, and to the main marketplace, where many Aven gather to buy and sell goods.

According to legend, those who leap from the city's cliffs are blessed with the ability of flight, yet nobody has actually seen this happen. Many of its citizens can already fly, being Owlin and Aarakocra. Many have attempted the feat, despite the grave danger involved. It is said that those who survive the jump are granted divine favor and can fly through the skies, and that they often become the guardians of the city, known as the Skyward Sentinels.

Despite its stunning views and rich cultural heritage, Pranticle Peak has political instability and corruption. The city is ruled by a fallen aasimar, who poses as a holy figure but instead runs the city like a dictator, with heavy taxes on the citizens and harsh punishments for those who defy him. The people live under the constant threat of his wrath, and many secretly hope for a better leader to emerge and bring change to the city. The fallen aasimar who rules Pranticle Peak with an iron fist is named Belial. She is a cunning and ruthless leader who will stop at nothing to maintain his grip on power, and his harsh policies and heavy taxes have driven many of the city's residents to the brink of poverty. Despite his authoritarian rule and blatant corruption, Belial has managed to keep his position by portraying himself as a divine figure and using his powerful magic to intimidate those who challenge him.

Locations:

1. The Pranticle Falls: an enormous waterfall dropping into a deep lake below the islands, which feeds into the ocean. The falls are known for their beauty and for the mist they create, which forms a thick cloud layer at the foot of the islands. The area is home to many species of birds, such as falcons and eagles, which often use the winds created by the falls to fly high above the clouds.
2. The Sky Temple, located atop the largest floating island in Pranticle Peak, is the center of the city's religious life. It is a great structure, built of chiseled stone and decorated with intricate carvings and symbols of the gods. The interior of the temple is equally impressive, with beautiful mosaics that cover the walls and ceiling, and a towering statue of the god Syranita, the patron deity of the Aven and the city's protector. The temple's main sanctuary is surrounded by a large open-air stadium, where the city's residents gather to celebrate religious festivals and to listen to holy sermons. The temple is also home to a library of sacred texts, where priests and scholars can study and meditate on the teachings of their faith. In addition, the temple also houses a large hospital, where healers treat those in need, both physically and spiritually. The temple is run by a group of priests and monks, who devote their lives to serving Syranita and the other gods. They perform daily rituals and prayers, and also give spiritual guidance to the city's residents. The temple is also a place of great beauty and tranquility, and many of the city's residents come to pray or just to marvel at the temple's grandeur.

He is a proficient spellcaster, skilled in the arts of Enchantment and Illusion, and is able to bend the minds of men to his will, making them believe he has the power of a holy aasimar when in reality, he is far from it.
2. Gwealyn: A female Owlin cleric, who serves as the temple priestess for the main temple in Pranticle Peak. She is wise and compassionate, and provides spiritual guidance for all who come to her seeking help. Gwealyn is known far and wide for her healing abilities, and those in need come to her from all over Pranticle Peak to receive her blessings.
3. Sol: A male Aarakocra wizard, who owns and operates a small magic shop in Pranticle Peak. He is a talented mage, with a specialty in enchantments and illusions, and his shop offers a wide variety of magical items and spells for sale. Sol is known for his quick wit and his willingness to help those in need, and he is always willing to lend a hand to those seeking his aid.
4. Yvaine: A female Owlin assassin, who works for the city's criminal underground. She is known for her stealth and her deadly aim, and those who cross her often end up dead. Yvaine is a skilled assassin, and her services are in high demand among the city's criminals. However, she is also known to have a heart of gold, and she is often willing to help those who have fallen on hard times.
5. Kalen: A male Aarakocra hunter, who owns a shop specializing in hunting supplies and advice. He is an expert on the surrounding lands and the many creatures that inhabit them, and he is always willing to offer his wisdom to those seeking his help.
